Sara Shell

Senior Account Executive

Sara Shell is a Senior Account Executive who offices from Florida’s Space Coast. She helps develop and execute media/PR strategies for clients including Orbital Reef, AIAA Students 2 Launch and the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Prior to joining Griffin, Sara spent more than six years at Space Florida, which works to strengthen the state’s position as the global leader in aerospace research, investment, exploration and commerce. As Public Relations Manager, she led media relations, communications, social media and events to support numerous organizational project announcements and initiatives. She was also a key committee member responsible for developing the organization’s core values platform.

Before launching her PR career, Sara worked as a journalist for the Sun-Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale, covering community news, and as a sports reporter for both the Virginian-Pilot and the Virginia Gazette, covering professional, college, high school and community athletics.

She currently serves as Special Events Chair for the Space Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. She also volunteers with United Way of Brevard.
